Spyware Alert
guest

When I went on the Internet last night and went to this website to view some products a friend of mine was talking about, I got a spyware alert. What does this mean? [br]

This alert means your anti-spyware program you have installed on your computer is working. It monitored your computer and network connections and found the spyware program trying to download to your computer. it stopped the download and sent you an alert so you will know the program is working. [br][br]Most anti-spyware programs do have alerts that you enable when you install the program, this way you will be able to know when the program has found a spyware program and got rid of it. This is for you to know the program works, so you'll have confidence in knowing you are in good hands. [br][br]

What you may not know is that same Internet connection that makes it possible to check your email from the comfort of your bed also makes it easier for hackers to access your personal information.

It is for this reason, the sharing of the wireless Internet connection, that protecting your computer when wireless is even more important than ever before.
